Our herd of South Devon and Limousine cows kick their heels up over ... hectares of organic land, eating juicy, tender grass away from the stresses and noise of us splashing in the lake. Twice a day, Rowie goes out to see them and makes sure that all the expectant mummies are healthy and well, and that the new born calves are able to drink milk from their mothers.

We are currently changing from Limousine to South Devon beef and hope to get some more South Devon cows soon – Bully gets bored with just the two ladies to play with! But don't worry: we have enough young rascals jumping over the fence to supply your meat boxes every month. We also hope to produce our own organic pork and lamb next year too, so watch this space…
