We're not going to pretend that we grow melon and pineapples all year – this is rainy England after all! However, we do produce some of our own organic fruit for the boxes, such as apples and strawberries (mmm, strawberries; we think they're simply the tastiest in the world, and unfortunately the pesky squirrels and thieving geese agree). We do buy in fruit from other farms,

but always make sure it's as local as possible, Fair Trade and never air-freighted – and of course always organic. We planted some heritage variety apple, pear and plum trees around the farm a few years ago, and we hope to produce even more of our own lovely organic fruit very soon. Who knows: maybe one day those melons and pineapples will grow here…

A friend of mine recommend you to me, and after two months of flavours veg and fruit, I am going to have a go at your meat box.
